GARDENIA WEST VILLAGE

On Monday, I was invited to lunch at a super cute restaurant in the West Village called Gardenia and I met with my friend Dami. Gardenia is Mediterranian-Latin restaurant and bar serving Latin and Mediterranean cuisine with European influences. Their chef focuses on using fresh and seasonal ingredients, fusing new world and old world flavors.

Mediterranean inspired decor and home items

We started off  our lunch with soup, salad, fish tacos and steak skewers.

Cod Fish Tacos

Soupa Azteca – chicken, black tortilla, cream, quest fresco and advocado

Cucumber Yogurt Gaspacho – organic olive oil, feta cheese

Burata Salad

Steak kabobs + Beet Juice & Vodka cocktail

Toasted bread brushed with garlic

Lunch paired with their famous Mediterranean Sangria and Mediterranean Mojito

A few of their most popular drinks

Steak Kabos – herbs steak marinated, toasted pita, shawarma sauce

Lunch was amazing and my favorite dishes were the Cucumber Yogurt Gazpacho and the juicy steak skewers. Their Mediterranean sangria was so refreshing and I loved the large pieces fresh fruit that almost made it too pretty to drink!

I will definitely be back for lunch or dinner the next time i’m in the west village.
