MAKE MONEY. SAVE MONEY.

Today’s  Fashion Friday Find is a really cute patent leather Salvatore Ferragamo belt that I found at a popular consignment store here in Connecticut called Consignment Originals. Those who know me know that if I have clothes or accessories sitting in my closet for over a year that I haven’t worn and I’m no longer in love with it, then i’m selling it. I’ve been selling my pre-loved items on eBay since college and over the past few years, I’ve been purchasing and selling items at consignment stores as well. Out with the old, and in with the new!

A few month ago I was invited to attend a blogger event celebrating the opening of the 5th Consignment Originals store and they have been around since 1982. With over 100,000 consignors, Consignment Originals has on of the largest selection of clothing, accessories, home goods and more for your entire family.

It was such a fun evening and I had a great time meeting new bloggers and seeing some of my old blogger friends. The highlight of my evening of course was the shopping and that evening I found a super cute Salvatore Ferragamo belt for a steal. The average brand new women’s Ferragamo belt runs between $200 to $400 or more depending on the type of leather used. So, the moment I tried it on and it was my size, I didn’t even think twice to purchase it. A $300+ belt for only $40.95 #issadeal

To see how I styled this belt, you can read my post here.

When you shop or consign with them, not only are you making and saving money, but you are also giving back to the community. Every quarter, Consignment Originals selects a different local organization to receive a portion of sales. They currently has 5 locations in Connecticut: Manchester, Rocky Hill, Avon, Orange and Cheshire. So when you’re ready to refresh your wardrobe or make some extra money, be sure to stop by your local Consignment Originals. To learn more you can visit their website.

Nothing like a good designer purchase!
