HOW TO BE STYLISH ON A BUDGET

I get asked a lot about tips to stay stylish while on a budget! So for today’s post, I’ll be sharing tips that worked for me.

  1. Shop alternative brands
  2. Shop sales – Keep an eye out for sales during the holiday or even using shopping sites like ebates to get cash back on purchases
  3. Buy off-season – Purchasing items off-season or as the season is changing is a great way to get good deals on pieces
  4. Shop for needs not wants – Do an inventory of your closet and start purchasing items you need
  5. Invest in quality over quantity – Ditch the trend and focus on buying timeless pieces that you can wear even years after

I hope you guys found these tips helpful! Are there any tips you use, that I missed? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I definitely need to start shopping off season. Half my problem is not knowing what I need until I’m in my closet LOL.

  2. I’m so so sooooo bad at buying what I need. I always gravitate towards randomly beautiful things when I ‘treat’ myself and then get frustrated they don’t really match my wardrobe, or that I can’t make an entire outfit with. I can’t believe I still do this at 33!

Supporting alternative brands is rewarding too, because you can often be more ethical with your money and help out an independent.

BTW, your pictures are gorgeous, they are so crisp and clean, there’s so much light in them. A stunning aesthetic. <3

  3. I feel like I spend more on quality because 1 I make more money now but 2 there really is a difference in higher quality clothes. They also usually fit me better. But your tip on buying what you need and the timeless pieces would be good to buy expensive high quality but still minimize my closet.

  4. I have a very bad habit of buying things that catch my eye, I almost always regret It once I get it in the mail! It can be frustrating lol

  5. I am know for always buying off season, I get some really great wings for a fraction of the price. Plus if you know how to pick items that are classic they will still be on point for years to come.

  6. First of all, these pictures are adorable!! And where you took the photos looks like such a cute little town! Second, such good tips. I seem to follow some of the same rules because lets face it I LOve clothes lol

  7. Love the hairdo. I shop clearance rack and second-hand stores.
