For toady’s post, I want to share a few tips on how you can have a safe picnic and eat outdoors during this time. A picnic is a perfect way to have a good time while staying safe if we take the right precautions. Better yet, a picnic is the opportunity to create a stylish, curated event special enough to share on social media or celebrate any milestones this year. Below are a few tips to help you stay safe while enjoying food outdoors.
- Wash Your Hands Before Preparing Food
- Prep food in individual portions instead of serving family-style to avoid sharing
- Make sure to sanitize your hands and surfaces before eating and in between
- Gather with a limited number of people or just have a solo picnic
5. Wear a mask when you’re not eating
6. Stay 6 Feet apart from others in your group
7. Be mindful of what you’re taking home and what needs to be thrown away
Don’t forget to check with your local and state government for any restrictions for group gatherings outdoors. I hope you find these tips helpful and continue to stay safe during these times of uncertainty.
