Last week I took a mini vacation to New Orleans, Louisiana to take a break from my day-to-day grind in Connecticut. I was there for a little over 3 days and it was a much needed get away. The moment I stepped outside the airport, the warm weather, palm trees and slight humidity made me feel at ease. I explored New Orleans with the help of a curated itinerary created by the amazing team at Countless Miles. I was also able to meet up with a good friend of mine, Kwesi, to capture some of my OOTD looks while in the city.

I actually came across this blush dress by accident while browsing on Amazon a few weeks ago. To be honest, I am typically wearing of ordering clothes from Amazon due to the horror stories from the misrepresentation of clothes from store owners (even ones with good reviews). Nonetheless, I still decided to take a chance and order this dress since I’ve been on the hunt for a blush pink off the shoulder dress for a while. To my surprise, it ended up working out, but I would suggest ordering a size up. I normally wear a small and luckily I ended up ordering a medium (just to be safe) and it fit perfectly.
