5 FUN FACTS ABOUT PVDONUTS

Next time you find yourself in Providence, RI make sure you visit PVDonuts! They are a really cool specialty donut shop with delicious donuts. A good friend of mine recommended I stop by the next time i’m in Providence and I made sure to add it to my list. For today’s post i’m sharing 5 fun facts about PVDonuts and I hope you find them interesting!

  1. They make everything fresh and from scratch! This includes rolling, cutting, dipping, and decorating all by hand.
  2. Their team makes anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000+ donuts a day.
  3. They make a Flourless donut that is available daily and “flourless” to them means that it is not made with any wheat products, instead, they use Bob’s Red Mill 1-to-1 Baking Flour.
  4. An average day 700+ people visit their shop daily.
  5. PVDonuts was funded out of pocket by owners Lori and Paul Kettelle. They are a small, family-owned and operated business with no investors or restaurant groups involved.

Not only are their donuts delicious, but they are also so pretty! Make sure you get there early because there tends to be a line (yes, they are that good) but trust me, it’s worth the wait!
