I can’t believe that in October my blog turns 3. It’s been an exciting journey and for today’s post, I wanted to share five reasons why I love blogging. Of course I have more than five reasons, but let’s say that these are my strongest ones.
- Creative Outlet – Blogging is one of my favorite creative outlets! Not only does it give me a chance to improve my writing skills, but also express myself visually. I get to edit videos on my YouTube channel and be my own creative director with my photo shoots. Literally styling my looks, location scouting, and creating my mood boards for each collaboration.
- Build Community – I’m so grateful for my audience on all my social media channels and as I document my journey, it feels amazing to know I’m not the only person going through the ups and downs in life. I love connecting with my audience and getting to know them as I grow.
- Share my Passions – I love talking about and sharing things that get me excited. If you’re new to blog, you’ll find out that I enjoy sharing topics involving fashion, beauty, travel and any new or innovative technology in those industries. I also enjoy talking about business and sharing inspiring stories by interviewing entrepreneurs I meet on my journeys and sharing tips that I’ve learned from my experience.
- Meet new People – One thing I love about this creative space, is the other creatives that you get to meet. I’ve meet other bloggers, photographers and entrepreneurs fromvarioud industries from networking events or on-line through my blog.
- Explore – Being a blogger never gets boring and it has pushed me over the years to explore my environment in my state and when I travel. I’ve even started to do more vlogs on my channel, to share a more “laid back” perspective with my content. Not only have been exploring my surroundings more, but I’ve found myself exploring new topics that I discuss on my blog. I have a very special series of entrepreneurial focused topics planned in the month of October.

I agree with all these reasons. I love blogging because I love to write and I am truly passionate about education and helping teachers. It has been a fantastic journey. I’m loving it and spend WAY too much time blogging! 😉

Yes, I agree. blogging is a great way to build community and is a great creative outlet. Also, for some reason my keyboard is not letting me type capital letters. Weird. Also, I love your dress!
I can relate to all these reasons. They are my top points too for why I love blogging. As a blogger, you tend to be more creative and continuously work on improving your skills as well as learning new ones. And yes, most importantly, passion keeps us going!
