For today’s post, I’ll be sharing a few tips on how you can get started with your blog, regardless of your budget. These tips are especially helpful if you are just starting out as a blogger and haven’t really started making an income yet to have an allocated budget.
- Use your phone to take your images and use apps to edit them. I suggest trying to take as many pictures as you can during the day to utilize natural lighting!
- Stick to sharing your images and content on free social media sites like Instagram, Pinterest, facebook and twitter until you can afford the costs of a domain, web hosting, a theme, custom e-mail and such. There’s nothing wrong with building your audience before your actual website is ready!
- When you go to the mall or any store, take pictures of displays and products you like. This way you can still share them with your audience, but you don’t have to worry about purchasing it at the moment. Also, be sure to ask stores if it’s ok for you to take pictures first.
- If you have a close friend, sibling or blogger friend nearby, you can borrow or swap clothes and accessories.
- Make budget shopping or thrifting part of your content! Think of unique and cool ways to share tips and tricks on how you stay stylish without spends tons of dollars.
- Create fashion blog posts that focus on trends and lists, so you can source images for inspiration and use product images in your post.
I believe if there is a will, there is a way. Work with what you have an get that blog started! I hope you found these tips helpful.
