SMALL WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR DAY


There’s a lot going on in the world today and for today’s post I just really want to keep things lighthearted and share some positivity to hopefully brighten up your day and keep you centered.

It’s really easy to get distracted by the tv, news, social media updates, and alerts that might pop up on your phone. But I want to share a few things that you can do just to help you make your day a little better as you disconnect from all the noise. I hope you find these tips helpful and feel free to let me know if I missed anything in the comments below.

1. Pray or meditate for at least 10 minutes to set the tone of your day

2. Do something creative every day. You’ll be surprised that even the little bit of energy you pour into being creative can help you feel centered.

3. Shut off your phone and disconnect from the noise for at least 30 minutes to an hour daily and use that time to just do something that makes you happy.

4. Get dressed up even if you have nowhere to go.

5. Curate the environment that you live in to make you happy and feel positive. This goes down to the smells such as candles and air fresheners and even the music you listen to on a daily basis.
