Everyone needs a pair of black patent leather pumps in their closet. It’s that classic heel that can easily transition from work to happy hour or be the safe shoe option when you don’t want to be underdressed or overdressed for an occasion. With black patent heels, I would also recommend a lower than normal heel, since they are to be worn over and over and possibly for extended periods of time. My black patent leather Christian Louboutin Pigalles (pictured above) are 100mm in height, which is equivalent to about 4 inches. They are one of my most comfortable heels, once I broke into them.
