I grew up using raw shea butter as a moisturizer for my skin and hair. My grandmother and mom would always bring tubs of shea butter from Nigeria. It was a common household beauty product we used on our body, lips, hair and hands.
I love using shea butter especially in the winter time, when my skin and hair is prone to becoming dry. I even make my own whipped body butter to help the application of the shea butter be even easier. So with today’s post, I want to share a few benefits of using shea butter in your beauty routine.

Great pics. I luv Shea butter. I haven’t used it for awhile. I need to ge back to using it since I’m trying to use more natural products and get away from toxic chemicals.
I love shea butter especial during winter, it’s the only thing that can rescue my skin from cracking from cold.

I love Shea butter and I had no idea you could also use it in you hair! It’s super expensive here in Australia so I would have a look in the african shops maybe they have better value! thanks for sharing!
