ESSENTIAL HABITS TO DEVELOP WHILE WORKING FROM HOME

For today’s post, I want to share a few habits I have developed while working from home.

  • Create a routine that works for your lifestyle and setup of your home
  • Set boundaries with your personal and work time
  • ALWAYS take a lunch break
  • Have a set time to end your workday in order to create balance
  • Take stretch breaks regularly; you can find some easy full body stretches on YouTube
  • Leave your home at least once a day. Your body needs to move and fresh air never hurts.

I also wanted to share a few tips, that have helped me work efficiently at home as well:

  1. Try listening to music that makes you calm and relax
  2. Utilize apps on your phone or computer to help you manage your time
  3. Have a designated work area
  4. Invest in a comfortable working chair

  1. I only work from home on weekends. However I have no desk yet. I practically work from the bed with is supposed to my haven.

    Any recommendations on how to set up small work station at home?
